The importance of…’marking the occasion’

I’ve always rather liked the idea of ‘marking the occasion.’

Of never letting something that’s important or significant…go un-acknowledged.

With this in mind, it seems kind of ironic, that I was about to let the fact that I am now officially a University student (yes… you heard right!!) go un-cheersed!!

Initially, this was because the decision felt… crazy, and unlike something that warranted mentioning to anyone… let alone celebrating with anyone!

That said, I can concede that if ever there was an occasion deserving of a little toast, it’s this one.
