Just as easy, just as economical, and just as likely not to hang about very long once anyone within sniffing distance catches wind of that fresh-from-the-oven aroma!
Now we’re not saying flapjacks are THE healthiest bake-day choice (what is?!), BUT...they do have enough going for them to make them a credible ‘added extra’ to a healthy, balanced diet.
Thanks to the rolled oat content, they provide useful amounts of fibre, vitamins and minerals that are above and beyond that of most standard coffee-break treats.
So, if the sight of this ‘here’s-one-I-made-earlier’ has succeeded in sending you all gooey eyed, then why not put the remnants of that fleeting porridge passion to good use this weekend?
