It’s hot choc-o-clock!



Let’s just take a minute to appreciate the sweet spot that is…10pm.


As far as bedtimes go, it doesn't really get much better than this, and not least because 10pm happens to strike so well, that happy medium between 'too early' and 'too late.'


The result? Zero trade off between optimum down time... and optimum sleep.


From a biological perspective, 10pm also provides access to that small window of opportunity that exists for restorative, REM sleep… something that has been shown to be more important than the number of hours clocked up (quality over quantity, they say!)


It’s for all these reasons, that 10pm has evolved into sacred territory in my household!


With its toll, comes a sequence of semi-rituals which, over time, have evolved into a pivotal pillar of health - something that props up the ‘bigger picture’ of wellbeing, even when all else fails!


Once the phone is off, and the PJs are on…is when the power of a ‘hug in a mug’ comes into its own.


In the past, I’ve tried all manner of herbal and malty confections, but there is something about ‘the night drink’ by Ten PM, that hits different.
