‘Hospitality provides a vital role in uplifting us above the pressures, stresses of daily routines.

Updated: Sep 23, 2021

If the last two years has taught us anything, it’s just how much richer our lives are, for the many social, practical and entertainment opportunities that hospitality brings to the table.

From pubs, to restaurants, live music, to theatre, these places provide a vital role in uplifting us above the pressures, stresses and monotony of daily routines.

These are the places we go to let off steam, reconnect with people, and with a sense of something beyond ourselves. It’s where we go to tap into the creativity and inspiration that often only comes from feeding our happy with fresh surroundings, and a little of what we fancy!

Today is officially National Hospitality Day, and the perfect time to acknowledge all these unique and invaluable benefits, and to celebrate the resilience of our restaurants, hotels, pubs and bars, and their suppliers.

Going forward, we’re looking at ‘going out’ as a chance not only reap the personal rewards of nights like this… but to play a small but significant part in the building back of those businesses hardest hit by the events of the last 18 months.

For more details on today’s events, and those taking part (heads up, it includes Wahaca Ask Italian and Zizzi) follow @nationalhospitalityday!
